Triz supported an OEM with the development of a Class 3 all-electric delivery vehicle for a last-mile delivery platform.

Electrical System Design & Harness Integration – Fire & Emergency Vehicle OEM

Triz supported a fire and emergency vehicle OEM with electrical engineering design and harness integration across the vehicle platform.

The program required development of multiple harness systems aligned to vehicle architecture, packaging, and manufacturing requirements.
Triz operated within the OEM’s engineering structure, working directly with their technical leadership to deliver defined scope.
Triz delivered:
  • Electrical harness design across cab, chassis, powertrain, body, and emergency systems
  • Schematics, 3D routing models, and 2D manufacturing drawings
  • Bill of Materials (BOM) for each harness
  • Integration of a new digital display and CAN-controlled power modules across the vehicle
Execution was led by a dedicated project engineer interfacing with the OEM, while design engineers delivered the technical outputs. The OEM provided ongoing direction and approvals through regular review cycles.
The result was a fully integrated, production-ready electrical system aligned to OEM standards.

Fuel Cell Integration – Class 8 Vocational Platform

Triz led the integration of a hydrogen fuel cell powertrain into a Class 8 vocational vehicle platform.

The program focused on integrating a full fuel cell electric powertrain across multiple vehicle platforms, ensuring alignment between hydrogen storage, thermal management, electrical architecture, and control systems within a heavy-duty application.
